Chances are you probably weren't a fan of greens during your childhood either. Russell Keast, the Director of the Centre for Advanced Sensory Science at Deakin University says: "children are particularly sensitive to bitter flavors, and humans have been programmed to be suspicious of food that tastes bitter".
