"The true challenge came when our kids started to develop bad eczema. Not only did Joanne not turn us away, she cared for them so patiently even without us asking like giving them herbal and oatmeal baths. We tried many types of creams and treatments and she always obliged willingly and never gave up on our kids! Zachary has numerous food allergies by Joanne made sure that he is well fed everyday and even took the trouble to create allergy-friendly menu for him. We are so thankful for that. |
"BB Jun is a baby with hypotonia. Joanne really touched our heart when she said `no worries, we will always open the door for BB Jun so long as you need us'. We worry whether he can adapt to the new environment, but surprisingly, he seems happy every time we pick him from the centre. We noticed significant improvement in terms of sleeping behaviour. He seems more manageable and able to sleep on his own at night. BB Jun is 6 months now. He is a cheerful and active boy. We have no regrets to send him to Kidzhaven because this gives us peace of mind when we are at work. |
"Before Jared went to Kidzhaven, he wasn’t really able to speak many words and I was getting a little worried that we had to send him to speech therapy. I did share with Joanne my concern and she asked me not to worry and mentioned that boys will take longer than girls to pick up speech. I guess my fears were in vain as currently Jared is coming home every day singing many songs; ABC, Mary had a little lamb, Wheels on the bus and even the other day he surprised us by singing a Mandarin song. I’m sure he learnt it from school given that we do not speak any Chinese to him at home. And the best part of all, he’s happy to go to school every day, never really making any fuss as he tells me he has many friends there."

"I was impressed by Joanne's level of attentiveness to minute details, for example, not sending the children over for trial class on Mondays as children tend to be more moody on that day, etc. The genuine affection and concern that Joanne and her helpers show the children, truly makes Kidzhaven a child’s “home away from home”. |
"It was the best choice to send Jaylyn to the care of Aunty Joanne while I work because she loves and cares for Jaylyn. Even the food that Aunty Joanne prepares is showered with love, passion and creativity to delight the kids. Aunty Joanne is someone who loves what she does and excels at creating a fun loving environment at Kidzhaven. The kids loves to mingle and play with her, and enjoys her singing too! I am so looking forward for Jaylyn to join the interesting Montessori, drama activities, and play as she enters the toddler group soon. :)" |
"No worries, everything is under control". That's the kind of assurance we get from Joanne whenever we were anxious to know how Herng was doing at her centre. Herng was well taken cared of at Kidzhaven. Every day we would either get a report from Joanne on Herng's basic activities, or get to hear from one of the caregivers what he did on that day. He also gets to play with fellow babies aka his peers, and that's probably why he doesn't get afraid / scared easily whenever we go out." |
"We sent our daughter to Kidzhaven and soon noticed many improvements in both her temperament and behaviour. More importantly, she's managed to gain some solid weight in a matter of weeks - not an easy feat as her weight gain was almost nonexistent prior to joining Kidzhaven. Janice loves the centre as well - she would give the broadest smile, wave and literally jump onto waiting hands of the caregivers each morning. "Joanne is an extraordinarily organized, passionate and genuine person. She will talk to me every day about what exactly my son has eaten, how many "poops" he had and any other pertinent information despite a daily hand written report being provided. I am constantly amazed at the fun and creative things she does with the kids and my baby is always excited to see her. Me and my husband always feel incredibly blessed to have found this place as we know that our child is safe, well fed, loved and given lots of hugs while we are at work. |
